Quick Spring Break Summary

I don't know that I'll have time to cover the details of Spring Break in my usual long narrative so here's my best efforts at a complete summary.

3D spongebob movie

Wednesday ( cause I worked Monday and Tuesday of last week)
A day trip to Carowinds. All in a day was a bit crazy though. 6+ hours driving and 8 hours at the park!



My cousin Jabari joined us. Good thing too. He saved the day. I learned that my youngest truly hates riding most anything but loves to play carnival games.

Thursday
Swimming at the local indoor pool. My theme here is to wear these kids out. I was too tired to swim, but I kept my exercise routine.


I had Part 2 of my annual physical. Apparently I'm quite healthy.

Oh! Crystal and I went shopping for a dress for her for Easter. We found something she loved. I was concerned because it is black but she loved it and we made it work.

Friday
Rained all day and we stayed in the house, mainly my mom's house. I retwisted Crystal's locs. Sorry no pic.

Saturday
Found all-in-one outfits for the boys for Easter Sunday Service.
Rock climbing at my friend's daughter's birthday party. My kids loved it and wore themselves out Yay!

This is the birthday cake. Beautiful right? My creative friend, Rhumel, made it herself! I'm so impressed. I have talented friends. Oh and it tasted good too. I wish I'd taken a picture of it after she cut it. It was vanilla on the top layer and chocolate on the bottom. I broke my diet for that cake.



Immediately after the party (though I didn't climb up one rock) I was exhausted and fell asleep at 8pm!

Easter Sunday
Went to church church early to make sure we got our regular pew. Church is always full on Easter. The kids looked great, don't you think?



After dinner, we went to grandma's with the cousins for the annual Easter egg hunt. Grandpa is the best at growing tall green grass for hunts.
