I've been reading Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series. I'm an avid audiobook listener and have invested ~ 140 hours in the first 3 books. I've decided not to go any further in the series. The fourth book, The Fiery Cross (see pic) is unnaturally short (8 hours rather than the usual 40+ hours) and read by a different narrator who didn't get great reviews. I'm drawing the line in the sand here. I've enjoyed the ride to this point but I can't commit to any more.
I'm in the market for the next great love story. Any recommendations?
